Hi there, there is not a specific protective mattress pad that we would recommend. If you have a brand and style that you trust and will fit the mattress we would recommend that one. We do know that some mattress pads out there do contain liquid; we would not recommend any that use liquid as it could cause damage to the mattress if it were to escape the mattress pad.
